RAPT™ Exam — The RAM™ English Proficiency Test

The RAPT™ Exam – RAM™ English Proficiency Test is a standardized English language assessment designed to measure the ability of learners and professionals to understand and use English effectively in academic, professional, and workplace environments.

Skills Assessed in the RAPT™ Exam

The RAPT™ exam evaluates three fundamental areas of English language proficiency.

Section 1️⃣: Active Listening & Response

This section measures the candidate’s ability to understand spoken English in a variety of real-world contexts.

Listening materials may include:

everyday conversations
professional discussions
workplace communication
short academic lectures

Candidates demonstrate their ability to identify main ideas, key details, and the speaker’s intended meaning.

Section 2️⃣: Writing Mechanics & Grammar Precision

This section evaluates the candidate’s knowledge of English grammar and sentence structure.

It measures the ability to recognize correct written forms and identify grammatical accuracy in English sentences, which are essential skills for clear professional communication and effective written expression.

Section 3️⃣: Critical Reading & Word Power

In this section, candidates read a range of informational, professional, and academic texts and answer questions that assess their understanding.
